India urges UN to tighten laws against terrorism

Hardeep Singh Puri, the Indian envoy to UN, urged UN General Assembly to condemn terrorism but said nothing would change unless the laws against such activities are made stronger. The recent blast near Indian Embassy in Afghanistan left 9 dead.

IN THE wake of the recent attacks near the Indian Embassy in Kabul, Hardeep Singh Puri, the Indian envoy to the United Nations, has asked world leaders to discuss an international treaty that will help tackle the global problem of terrorism.
