Kenya: Tycoon Denies He's a Foreigner

Nairobi — A multi-millionaire was on Friday accused of being in Kenya illegally. The man, whose name was given as Unknown alias Ibrahim Noor Hillowly, is suspected to be from Somalia.

He was arraigned before chief magistrate Gilbert Mutembei by officers from the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit. "I am a Kenyan and own a Sh700 million estate in Eastleigh estate besides other property," he said while opposing a bid by the police to have him locked up pending further investigations.
