Tunis — During a press conference on Tuesday in Tunis, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Protection of Human Rights while Countering Terrorism Martin Scheinin said that during his 4 day visit in Tunisia, from January 22 to 26, he discussed "lengthily in total transparency laws and anti-terrorism practices in the country".
He also said that he held "constructive talks" with the Foreign Minister, the Justice and Human Rights Minister, representatives of the Interior Ministry, judges, MPs and members of the Higher Committee on Human Rights and Fundamental Liberties.
